Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue A. Ellis Taylor is an American actor and producer. She is a graduate of the BA in African-American Studies and an MFA from Tisch School of the Arts New York University. Aunjanue was born in the United States and is an American actor also known as producer and director. She has worked in both film and television. Her acting journey began in theater and later appeared in a number of TV shows and independent as well as mainstream movies. The actress was famous for her role as Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) and on BET's massive The Book of Negroes. The series both received reviews, and she also won a lot of prizes. Her professional acting d but was as Ariel, in The Tempest. On Broadway she was a part of the cast in Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Seeking the Genesis and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. She is most well-known for her roles in the films Men of Honor as well as the Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. She is also well-known for her role on ABC's crime-drama High Incident.
